This is a 50 hour specialist course. It takes place across 4 contact days of 8 hours inc lunch break. Pre and post course work makes at least 50 hours.
The course aim is to educate and empower yoga teachers with the theory and practical teaching skills to be able to confidently plan and teach Yin Yoga classes in an engaging and informative way to a range of people.
The course teaching method is a balance of immersive practice, interactive discussion, teaching peers practical, theory and is taught by senior teacher, Jac Godfrey.
Participants will be assessed on their understanding and application of what they have learned via a detailed class plan and write up. Attendance at all 4 contact dates is also a pre-requisite of qualification.
In 2022 we are offering this as an ONLINE course.

Accredited by Yoga Alliance professionals UK. Provides an insurable qualification for existing teachers.
NB: to receive the teaching qualification you already need to be a yoga teacher. Whilst you are welcome to apply to take this course as a non-yoga teacher, please note this training will NOT qualify you as a yoga teacher, you will need a minimum of a 200 hours YTT.

By booking your place on this course you are confirming your ability to attend all face to face dates (online or in person depending on which course you choose) and complete the course assessment work.
Full course participation and attendance is required to receive the qualification.
If you are attending the online version on Zoom, this is a fully interactive course with participants' web cameras required to be on unless otherwise agreed in advance with the course director.
The course fees are non -refundable on confirming your place. Strictly subject to the discretion of the course director in the event of exceptional circumstances your fee can be transferred to a later running of the same course.
If for any reason the course is canceled by us, you will receive a full refund or can elect to transfer to another course date.
Please note that for already-qualified yoga teachers, this specialist course confers a yin yoga teaching qualification. However, if you are not a yoga teacher, the course does not qualify you to teach yoga (yin or otherwise). If you subsequently qualify as a yoga teacher (minimum 200 hours) we can retrospectively accredit you with the Yin teaching qualification providing you have met and passed all necessary requirements of our curriculum.
